FOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2020 WE HONOR : THE BLACK PANTHERS. The Black Panthers was a political organization founded in 1966 by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale. The organization was designed to challenge police brutality against the African American community. They were known to be dressed in black berets and black leather jackets as they went out within communities and demanded change. We thank these men for showing us how to stand for something, how to go out and demand respect for our people and for most importantly challenging the brutal system created to end us, while still finding time to educate the African American Community and those outside of it.
